- Back to Basics -

Top - American Apparel// Skirt - Zara

So… It’s been a While.

I can’t really describe how weird it feels to be blogging again after what’s felt like forever. Earlier today my sister and I went to take these blog pics and I genuinely didn’t know what to do with myself, I felt so out of practice.

Anyhoo, I’m back and lot has happened since I last blogged so here’s a quick rundown:

1) I had my final ever University exams and I don’t think I’ve ever been as stressed as I was when I was revising for them. I’m considering doing a ‘University experience’ blogpost or maybe even a video if I can pluck up the courage so let me know if that’s something you’d like to see or read.
2) Whilst I was revising for my exams I got offered a graduate job by one of the biggest banks in the UK!! *shocked emoji* I couldn’t believe it and to be honest I still can’t believe it but I am so grateful! I am going to be a Trainee Manager as of September and I can’t wait to get started. The offer came at the perfect time and it really motivated me to push through my final exams.
3) I finished University and got my results!! I’m happy to say that I will be graduating from Lancaster University with a 2:1 Bsc Hons degree in Business Studies. I’m absolutely over the moon that all my hard work actually paid off!

So that’s a little rundown of the main things that have been going on in my life and as you can see, it’s all been about finishing Uni and getting my degree hence why I haven’t had the chance to even think about blogging.
Now that Uni is all over, I’ll have lots of spare time to blog :)
I’m graduating in a couple of weeks and shortly after graduation I’ll be heading to Dubai with my family for a couple of weeks. I’m so excited for the future but I really want to make the most of this summer so expect many more posts from me.

I hope you guys are all well and I hope your exams went/are going as you hoped they would. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram to keep up with my day to day shenanigans! I’ll speak to you soon.

- These Boots Are Made For Walking -

I am obsessed with shoes, especially black boots. I'm always getting told off because I never stop buying new pairs but I truly believe a girl can never have too many pairs of black boots.
These beauties are the newest addition to my collection and I think I'm in love! They are perfect to wear during the day but they can also be dressed up for a more evening appropriate outfit. They have a platform heel which makes them so comfortable to walk in and I can totally see myself wearing them to death during autumn/winter.
I love a good bargain and I don't think you guys will understand how excited I got when I saw these boots on the ASOS website in the sale section for £12!!! Twelve pounds! Say whhhaatttt?! Literally bagged myself the bargain of the year with these and it's made my week.

In other news....
I came back to University last week and I've been trying to crack on with some revision. This weekend I'll be taking a break and heading to York for the Roses Tournament. Roses is the biggest Inter-University sports tournament in Europe which occurs between Lancaster University and the University of York; each year the host Uni alternates so this year it's our turn to head over to York.
I'll be Instagraming away (as always) so if you want to see how it goes down you can follow me @Kudzai_k.

- Short Hair & Ripped Jeans -

Top - W// Jeans - DIY Levis// Shirt - Primark// Boots - Boohoo

Guess who's got short hair! At first I wasn't too sure about it but after a couple of days it grew on me and I'm really into it now! I've wanted to go short for a while now but I didn't really have the guts to do so! With the weather becoming warmer, I thought that it was the perfect time to just go for it.

I'm a massive fan of anything and everything that's distressed. I always end up cutting and DIYing 80% of the jeans and t-shirts which I buy (including these white Levis jeans). I love the rustic and edgy vibe a few rips can add to an outfit and I think its little details like this which make an outfit that little bit better.
I can't wait until exams are over so I can wack out the old sewing machine and start making some clothes again, I miss being able to make cute dresses and two piece sets!!

- Happy Easter -

Top - Primark// Skirt - New Look// Shoes - Boohoo// Gilet - H&M

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” – John 11:25-26

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday

I am obsessed with this skirt and if you follow me on Instagram you may have seen it in a couple of outfit posts in the past. It is such an easy item to style and doesn't really require much effort. I love the 90's vibe it gives an outfit and the way it allows me to channel my inner Dionne (from Clueless).

Anyone who knows me well probably knows that I'm obsessed with polo tops. Ugh, I love them. Much like stripe tee's, I don't think a girl can ever have too many polo tops. There is literally no such thing. I got this particular one from Primark and I love how soft it is. Primark can be so hit or miss when it comes to quality but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this top especially since it was so inexpensive.

You know how in my last post I was going on about having 7 exams and how I needed to revise etc... yeah that hasn't really happened but I promise I will start this week. Wish me luck.
